Fort Gilkicker, Gosport, Hampshire

Joint-venture project to acquire and develop this historic former gun battery originally constructed in the 1860s. The building is Grade II* listed as well as being a Scheduled Ancient Monument. A very complex project, sensitive negotiations were required with the Borough Council, the Ministry of Defence and an existing tenant to resolve various land difficulties as well as with the Borough Council and Historic England to resolve various planning difficulties and enhance the original planning consents. The planning consents were then implemented and various initial works carried out before the site was then sold. The company anticipates being retained by the buyer as a consultant through the development process.


Railway Square, Chelmsford, Essex

Project management appointment to secure planning consent for part-demolition and conversion of existing building and new-build construction to create 33 new apartments in town centre location. A series of planning consents were obtained over a number of years culminating in the final scheme. Site to be sold but the company has ongoing project management responsibilities during the construction process to secure 5 bespoke apartments as an ongoing investment for the Client.


The Yard, Sustead, Norfolk

Former scaffold yard acquired from Receivers at auction. Additional adjoining land acquired direct from Receivers. Original offices now converted to 2-bedroom cottage and retained as a holiday-let investment. Planning consent recently obtained to redevelop yard for 2 semi-detached cottages.


Coytes Gardens, Ipswich, Suffolk

Town centre infill plot acquired at auction with expired planning consent. Two new planning consents obtained for apartments with garaging and roof terrace. Consideration being given as to whether to sell site or develop.
